Central lock 8271 for Viro armoured protection shutter

Technical data:

• Structure and internal components: galvanised steel, increased thickness (2 mm) compared to normal roller shutter locks. Fixing hole spacing identical to the 8230 series and the most common roller shutter locks on the market.
• Outer protective plate: made of 2.5 mm thick galvanised steel which, after fitting the profile cylinder, is firmly attached to the lock case and houses the security escutcheon, preventing it from being torn off.
• Solid deadbolts: composed of galvanised steel plates, with a total thickness of 7 mm, 2 bolts, total stroke 24 mm.
• Security escutcheon: in case-hardened, hardened, copper-plated and nickel-plated steel, with rotating plate against break-in and drilling, in case-hardened, hardened, copper-plated and nickel-plated steel, 7 mm thick.

• Mechanism:

1. central version with double deadbolt;
2. prepared for double or half profile cylinder with DIN (excluding DIN 45° right-hand cam) or universal cam and escutcheon side (outside) 30 mm;
3. Deadbolt actuation by turning the key in the cylinder;
4. Locking sector springs made of spring steel class D.

• Supplied with:

1. detached pegs;
2. nickel-plated brass escutcheon with aesthetic function for the security escutcheon;
3. galvanised steel dowel for fixing the cylinder on the support and relative Allen key;
4. case-hardened, tempered and galvanised steel fixing screws (4 screws M6x35 mm for installation on shutters and 4 screws M5x70 mm for vertical installation on metal doors up to 40 mm thick);

• On request:

1. longer deadbolts (70 mm instead of 43 mm), total stroke 24 mm;
2. accessory for drilling the hole for the security escutcheon using a cup cutter (art. 8271.0600). The accessory can also be used to install the most common security escutcheons for profile cylinders;
3. practical display unit (item no. 8271.0601.1) can be easily transported and hung on the wall; base (item no. 8271.0602.1) is available for placing the display unit on the counter.
